Peanut Butter Cup Brings in $1500 for PAVE!

Nick and Judy Monte present Linda Campbell, Executive Director of Project Against Violent Encounters (PAVE), with a check for $1500 dollars. The money was raised on October 4th and 5th when the Monte’s business, The Village Chocolate Shoppe, created the World’s Biggest Peanut Butter Cup as film crews rolled, and then sold 500 pieces of the giant 209 pound confection to benefit PAVE. About 50 pounds of melted chocolate were carried pitcher by pitcher from the shop and smoothed carefully to create the shell. Over 159 pounds of peanut butter creme were made ahead of time and carried out and weighed in bowls to create the delicious filling.
