April was Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) and Child Abuse Prevention Month. PAVE displayed a clothesline project packed with shirts telling the stories of local victims and survivors of sexual assault. There were also life-sized wooden silhouettes of men, women, and children holding local and national sexual assault statistics. Lastly, there were white (children) and red (adult) flags representing the number of local reports of sexual assault in Bennington County.
This was a powerful exhibit and and was very well received throughout the county!
